What the HELL is the 3rd single off of ‘Britney Jean’?

Things just got a whole lot more interesting. Fans were in a frenzy yesterday when ‘It Should Be Easy’ was uploaded to Britney Spears’ offficial VEVO account. Well, Team Britney decided to ‘mess with our heads’ by uploading ‘Now That I Found You’ last night as well. So, what the hell is going on?!

On one hand, I feel like we may actually have a hit from this album with ‘It Should Be Easy’. It took three tries, but there’s no denying that this is a radio banger. On the other hand, it sucks that a song that feels sort of cheap is the the song that may be Britney’s only shot at radio darling this era. I guess her team is thinking, ‘Hey, ‘Scream & Shout’ worked…so will this.’. Yeah, maybe. ‘Scream & Shout’ was huge! This? I don’t know. It’s just…generic. And Britney Spears isn’t generic. There are far better contenders for a third single off this album. Hey, it could be a contractual agreement?

Now That I Found You’ is one of the rarities on ‘Britney Jean’ due to the fact that it’s actually GOOD. Sure, it kind of steals Avicii’s steeze, but hey – I’m not gonna hate, shit’s hot! Sure, ‘Now That I Found You’ may not be radio friendly (I’m not quite sure I understand this argument because, in my opinion, IT IS), but it’s a risk – something Britney and her team should consider taking because they’ve been playing it extremely safe lately. ‘Now That I Found You’ is such a better choice than the other contender. For one, it’s uplifting. It’s got tight EDM-pop production. AND, we’re getting Vocal-ney. HELLO?! The GP would eat this up and us Britney fans can finally back our claim that Britney can actually sing.

I hope to Godney that they’re testing both songs out right now. Both have been heard on the radio and ‘It Should Be Easy’ has club remixes that have been officially released. It’s about to get really interesting, Britney Army. ‘Cross your heart and hope to die’ that they pick the right one!
